We`ve had all sorts of ropy parks pitches as our `Home` ground but the three of note were Kinoulton School Playing Field (a bit narrow but great for attracting spectators), Platt Lane Keyworth (frankly, a shambles) and Cotgrave Welfare which worked quite well, although not many people came to watch. The current pitch at Hickling is the best arrangement we`ve had to date being local enough for supporters to drag themselves out of bed on a Sunday, in pleasant surroundings, and we don`t have to share the place with a load of rough townies. |
